Who we are looking for: CNC Machinist - Programmer
We are seeking team members that are highly motivated and skilled that will add value to our mission and purpose in serving our customers, community, and nation. The best team member will have extensive experience in setup, programming and operation of CNC Lathes and Mills. Experience is required and key to our success. Skills such as critical thinking, inspection with GD & T and CMM is preferred.

Required Skills:
· Attention to detail and good organizational skills
· Strong mathematical knowledge
· Physical strength and endurance is required to handle materials
· Use of precision measuring tools
· Knowledge of manual and CNC machine operations, including drilling, tapping, and milling
· Ability to accurately measure, inspect, and deburr parts
· Ability to read drawings and blueprints for inspection and production purposes
· Train, assist, and mentor apprentices, as well as managing other employees
· Detect improper operation and non-conforming parts, faulty equipment, and defective materials
· Fill out appropriate paperwork, travelers, work orders, and non-conforming documents
· Follow safety and operation procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area
· Analyze shop procedures and processes to increase manufacturing efficiency and quality control
· Check and maintain equipment daily
· Setup tooling and machines for production
· Understanding G code
· Setup 5 axis machines for jobs
Favorable if you have:
College Degree
Engineering Background
Fusion 360 CAD/CAM Experience
5 Years of experience or more
Experience operating a manual lathe
Experience operating a manual mill
Experience in the defense and aerospace manufacturing industry.
Experience with Fanuc and Siemens Controls
