Major law firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates savvy Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience (JD class of 2018 - 2021) to join its New York team.
Candidate Must have the following: 2-5 years of significant experience on trusts and estates, tax law, and wealth management within a large law firm Private Client Services practice (strong law firm employment history needed) ; Experience counseling high-net-worth individuals and family entities on estate gift generation-skipping transfer and income tax matters.
Top-notch academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades) ; Strong research, verbal & written communication skills required ; NY Bar.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Representing a diverse clientele to include new and established entrepreneurs and beneficiaries of inheritances provided by past generations.
-Aiding clients in estate tax planning, estate administration, drafting estate planning documents, and administering estates.
-Preparing and reviewing gift tax and estate tax returns.
-Counseling clients in areas to include production of an estate plan, wills, trusts, and other means of conveying property from one generation to the next.
-Exhibiting tax research and state law research skills.
-Communicating and corresponding with colleagues, clients, other counsel.
-knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, WORD, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
