Salary Range: $85K to $100K+ Permanent Position / Benefits
Job Description:
Youngstown, Ohio area expanding Engineering Firm seeks an experienced Civil Design Engineer with a background in water, wastewater, storm water and roadway design. The ideal candidate will create engineering designs, create proposals, set budgets and select time schedules from initial start-up through final design.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 5 or more years of experience and having a P.E. License or able to secure one in 6 Months.
Candidate mus have hands-on experience with AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil, GIS and / or REVIT software.
A full understanding of ODOT Standards and Compliance with Permitting.
Candidate must have excellent documentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate will prepare various types of documents from project reports, proposals, estimates, to bid documents and permit applications.
Keeps projects on schedule and within budget, communicating potential budget, scope, or schedule demands to the Project Manager.
Determine design, establishing course of action and reviewing results for accuracy and thoroughness in meeting client's needs.
Provides direction to assigned project staff that may include other engineers, drafters, designers, field staff and administrative-support staff, assisting with the establishment and attainment of goals.
Candidate is responsible for the project from the cradle to the grave.
