Description
Search Worx is currently looking for a full-time Staff Accountant for one of our clients, in Hopkinsville, OH. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all company financials, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, recording financial transactions, payroll and assisting in the completion of annual tax forms. As one of the finance lead for a growing company, the Staff Accountant is also expected to develop and maintain new processes for streamlining workflows. This position is in-office, Monday-Friday, with flexibility in scheduling, joining a young and forward thinking team.

Requirements
  
Responsibilities:
Preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings including monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Ensure accuracy and recording of expenditures in the general ledger system.
Process payments & manage Accounts Receivables/Accounts Payable, including communicating with clients and vendors.
Issues payments for new purchases via check, e-check, wire transfer
Reconcile partnership invoicing, bank accounts, etc.
Compiling tax and sales tax payments and maintains records
Process end of day reports
Prepare financial statements and meet with accountant monthly
Other responsibilities as required and necessary
 
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance, Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and bank policies
Proven ability to identify and reconcile accounting data
QuickBooks Online experience preferred
Exceptional customer service, strong organizational skills and professional communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast paced environment
